A House Born From Rock

This unique house in Stavanger, Norway, is built around natural bedrock and two beautiful existing trees. Designed for a young family, the home uses a U-shaped layout to create a private courtyard while bringing plenty of natural light inside. With warm pine interiors, exposed timber construction, and a clever connection to the landscape, this small home shows how thoughtful design can transform a difficult site into a peaceful and beautiful place to live.
