I'm sure it's happened to most of us. You're casually reading a fanfiction or book when all of a sudden there's a word choice that you just can't stand. It gives you "the ick," as the kids say these days. Whether it sounds incredibly unsexy or just plain weird to you, most everyone has a word they hate to read! Moist is a classic example.
