Description

If you've shopped at Walmart for years, you've probably never used most of what it offers. Walmart keeps only about four cents of profit on every dollar it sells, so a lot of what it offers sits behind the pharmacy, vision center and customer service counters, where you have to ask. Here are 10 free services, rights, and money-savers most shoppers — and almost all seniors — walk right past, counting down to number one, which can be worth thousands of dollars. 🔎 Our research approach: We started with Walmart's own published pages (its annual report, return and price match policies, pharmacy, vision and Walmart+ pages, and its Wellness Day announcements), then checked coverage and consumer-rights rules against Medicare.gov and the FTC. For the cost comparisons we used independent studies and price surveys, and we treated Walmart's own policy statements and outside reporting as separate kinds of evidence. Where only shopper reports existed (like free glasses adjustments), we say so in the video. Anything we couldn't confirm from a reliable source was left out. Chapters: 0:00 Why Walmart keeps only four cents on the dollar 0:56 The 10 "edge counters" — and how to claim each one 1:44 #10 · Free eyeglass adjustments at the vision center 3:09 #9 · Price match to Walmart.com (and the workaround if they say no) 4:36 #8 · The 90-day return window (and the exceptions) 5:38 #7 · Your Medicare Advantage over-the-counter allowance 7:05 #6 · Wellness Day: free health screenings 8:21 #5 · $0 Medicare shots at the pharmacy counter 9:44 Is there a catch?
