Description
What happens to thousands of rusty old bicycles after they’re thrown away? In this video, we follow the full recycling process as abandoned bicycles are cleaned, shredded, separated, melted down, and transformed into brand-new steel wheelbarrows.
The process begins with piles of heavily rusted bicycles entering an industrial recycling facility. They go through high-pressure washing and wastewater treatment before being shredded into smaller pieces. Powerful magnetic separation systems recover the steel from rubber and other non-metal materials.
The recovered scrap steel is then melted, cast, rolled into steel sheet, cut to size, and formed under heavy industrial presses. After finishing and coating, the newly manufactured steel trays are assembled with frames, wheels, and wooden handles to create heavy-duty wheelbarrows ready for real-world use.
This video uses AI-generated visuals to recreate and illustrate selected stages of real-world recycling and manufacturing processes for educational and entertainment purposes. The exact machinery, sequence, scale, and operating methods may vary between actual factories.
If you enjoy recycling factories, industrial manufacturing, scrap metal processing, and seeing old materials transformed into useful new products, subscribe to Factory Reborn for more full-process videos.
