Description

In 2008 Honda cut grooves into a road in Lancaster, California, for a commercial: drive over them at the right speed and your tyres hum the William Tell Overture. But the groove spacing ignored the width of the grooves themselves, so the notes come out wrong. The road was later moved after noise complaints and rebuilt with the same mistake. #shorts #engineering #physics
