We knew this day would come. We just never wanted it to. 💔🇦🇷

We knew this day would come. We just never wanted it to. 💔🇦🇷 To the man who made me fall in love with this beautiful game. If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t even love football. You’re the reason I fell in love with this sport. The reason I would drop everything I was doing just to watch one man with a ball at his feet. I grew up watching you, supporting you, celebrating your victories and feeling your defeats as if they were my own. And now, it’s hard to accept that the time has come to say goodbye to the shirt I loved watching you wear so much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything, Leo. Thank you for every match, every goal, every dribble, every moment, and every memory I’ll carry with me forever. What a privilege it was to live in the same era as you. What a privilege it was to watch you play. What a privilege it is to be able to say: I watched Lionel Messi. And now, all we can do is appreciate every moment we still have left with you on a football pitch. Every touch, every pass, every goal, every game. Because one day, I’ll have to learn how to love football without you. But not yet. So while you’re still here, I’ll enjoy every second of it. Te quiero, mi ídolo. Para siempre. 🇦🇷🐐❤️ Gracias, Capitán. ♾️ #Messi #GOAT #Argentina #Football #Futbol
