TONY FORBES SAYS FAMILY REMAINS PATIENT AS ANELE TEMBE INQUEST RESUMES

Tony Forbes, father of the late rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, says the family is being patient as the inquest into the death of Anele Tembe resumes at the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court today. Forbes says the family had to consider how to allocate its resources but could still seek legal representation while the inquest proceeds alongside the criminal case in Durban. Tembe, 22, died in April 2021 after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. The inquest is examining the circumstances surrounding her death, with further witnesses expected to testify this week.
