Blackbird Screaming - A Tribute to the SR-71 Blackbird - Uncle Sam's Blues

Black as midnight. Faster than the missiles chasing her. Flying at the edge of the atmosphere where almost nothing else could follow. 🎵 “Blackbird Screaming” is Uncle Sam’s Blues’ tribute to one of the most legendary aircraft ever built: the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Created for reconnaissance during the Cold War, the SR-71 could fly above 80,000 feet and at more than Mach 3, outrunning threats instead of fighting them. Enemy missiles were fired at Blackbirds, but no SR-71 was ever lost to hostile fire. There were no bombs to drop and no missiles to fire. Its weapons were altitude, speed, and intelligence. Blackbird singing in the dead of night Looking down from the edge of the atmosphere… 🇺🇸 WAR MACHINES VOL. 1 IS AVAILABLE NOW!
