From a Dilapidated White House in the Forest to a Modern Scandinavian Architectural Masterpiece

This home restoration and design concept follows the incredible transformation of an abandoned, overgrown arched house hidden deep within the forest into a breathtaking, modern Scandinavian retreat. The property starts in a state of severe decay, swallowed by creeping vines, tall wild grass, and a rotting roof. Witness the forgotten living room covered in scattered leaves, shattered glass, and thick cobwebs; the dilapidated kitchen with crumbling plaster walls and rotting wooden cabinets; and the neglected bedroom overwhelmed by peeling paint and a broken bed frame. The final result is a stunning, sunlit woodland haven that perfectly balances minimalist design with cozy Scandinavian warmth. The completely redesigned exterior features a sleek new grey arched roof, pristine white stucco walls, dark-framed modern windows, a fresh wooden deck, and a winding flagstone pathway leading to a cozy fire pit surrounded by blooming hydrangeas. Inside, the living room is transformed with bright white walls, warm oak hardwood floors, a light grey sectional sofa, elegant glass pendant lights, and organic linen curtains. The reconstructed kitchen becomes a bright, functional space featuring light oak flat-panel cabinetry, a classic white subway tile backsplash, a farmhouse sink with gleaming brass fixtures, and a cozy round wooden dining set. The arched bedroom is reborn as a peaceful sanctuary highlighting warm beige tones, a beautiful light oak bed frame with chunky knit bedding, minimalist floating nightstands, and a tall wooden standing mirror. Every space is illuminated with bright natural sunlight and a serene, inviting atmosphere. 0:00 Exploring the Abandoned House 0:33 Exterior & Landscaping Renovation 3:30 Living Room Renovation 6:03 Kitchen Renovation 8:35 Bedroom Renovation #abandonedhouse #houserenovation #scandinaviandesign #homerestoration #foresthouse #kitchenrenovation #bedroommakeover #beforeafter #timelapseconstruction #renovationasmr #minimalisthome #scandinav
