How Your Cat Secretly Chooses Their Favorite Person (It’s Never the One Who Tries the Hardest)

Your cat didn’t pick their favorite person by accident, and it almost never comes down to who fills the food bowl. After thirty-eight years of breeding and raising cats, Helen has watched hundreds of kittens make that choice right in her kitchen. In this video, she shares the eight quiet things that decide it, and why the person trying hardest to win a cat over is so often the one it walks right past. You’ll learn why cats tend to go straight to the one person ignoring them, how your voice and the way you move change how your cat sees you, why routine can matter as much as food, the right way to play so your cat sees you as its partner, and the clear signs that tell you the person your cat chose is you. Stay until the end for the story of Button, the smallest kitten Helen ever bred, who walked the whole length of her kitchen to find a shy little boy, and the letter he sent her years later. 🐾 Tell me in the comments: what’s your cat’s name, and is it you they picked? ❤️ Subscribe for honest cat wisdom from a lifetime of cats, one owner to another. 🐈 #CatBehavior #CatLovers #CatCare #FavoritePerson #CatTips #CatOwners #MaineCoon
