#egypt #ancientegypt #archaeology #archaeologydiscoveries #pyramid Egypt Discovery | Pyramid Tomb | Ancient Egypt | Egypt Mystery | Archaeological Discovery | Dakhla Oasis | Roman Egypt | Book Underworld | Osiris God | Ancient Mystery Archaeologists in Egypt's Dakhla Oasis just uncovered a pyramid-shaped tomb built for a husband and wife, not a pharaoh. It was sealed with a stone carved with Osiris, guarded by a scene from the Amduat, and holds a 19-line Greek poem written in red ink by a son to his dead father. Announced on September 24, 2026 by Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the tomb at Bir Al-Shaghala, in the necropolis of ancient Mut (Mothis), has "no exact parallel" in the cemetery. In this video, we go through the evidence and the three things that make no sense: - A pyramid, a royal shape, built for a non-royal family - The seventh hour of the Amduat, a text once reserved for kings, over a commoner's door - A Greek elegy by a son named Sarapion, for a father named Pisechtes, inside an Egyptian tomb sealed with Osiris A bronze coin of Emperor Constantine dates the tomb to the late 3rd or early 4th century AD, when Rome was turning toward a new god and this family doubled down on very old ones.
