The Autopsy of Pharaoh Akhenaten Revealed a Terrifying Secret About His Death

The Autopsy of Pharaoh Akhenaten Revealed a Terrifying Secret About His Death In 1907, archaeologists in Egypt's Valley of the Kings opened a small tomb and found a gold coffin with its face torn away, its name scraped off, and a skeleton nobody could identify. In this video, you'll follow the whole investigation, from the king who abandoned Egypt's gods and the country that tried to erase him, to the 2010 DNA and CT study that named the man in tomb KV55, revealed who Tutankhamun's mother really was, and helped explain why the boy king was so fragile. You'll also hear why some scientists say the case still isn't closed. #Akhenaten #Tutankhamun #AncientEgypt #KV55 #Egyptology #History
