COSMIC GNARLY - C Change (Official Music Video)

In this official Cosmic Gnarly music video for “C Change,” a surreal, psychedelic journey unfolds on the edge of reality as groove, transformation, and cosmic energy collide at a coastal pier setting. The story begins as a mysterious zombie emerges from the ocean near the pier, rising slowly from the water with an unsettling presence driven by pain, confusion, and raw energy. The environment is calm but charged, as if something bigger is about to happen. Enter Cosmic Gnarly—arriving just as the strange energy begins to ripple across the scene. While moving through the nearby parking lot, Cosmic Gnarly encounters a wandering lot mystic—an enigmatic figure who exists somewhere between street vendor and cosmic guide. This character offers a full sheet of magic blotter paper, each square marked with cryptic fortune-style messages hinting at transformation, fate, and perception beyond the surface level of reality. Without hesitation, Cosmic Gnarly consumes the entire sheet, triggering a rapid shift in perception and form. The world bends, colors intensify, and reality fractures into a kaleidoscopic state. In a powerful transformation, Cosmic Gnarly morphs into a towering cosmic robot—an amplified version of self, built for expression, connection, and change. What initially appears to be a looming battle between the giant robot and the ocean-born zombie quickly evolves into something deeper. Rather than attacking, the robot begins constructing—pulling together abandoned cars in the parking lot and shaping them into a massive amplifier system. From this structure, the robot conjures a glowing, otherworldly guitar. Instead of conflict, the robot chooses music. As the groove of “C Change” takes over, the robot begins to play—channeling energy through rhythm, tone, and vibration. The sound cuts through the tension, reaching the zombie not as a threat, but as a form of release. The zombie is drawn closer, responding to the music as the pressure and pain begin to dissolve. In a pivotal moment, the robot hands the guitar to the zombie. What follows is transformation through expression—the zombie begins to play, releasing everything that was once trapped inside. The robot steps back, dancing as the energy shifts from tension to connection. The two are no longer opposing forces—they are part of the same frequency. As the moment peaks, a new presence emerges: a sea-born figure searching the shoreline. The energy shifts again, this time with recognition and surprise. In the final moment, both figures turn toward the camera, caught in a shared realization—pulling the viewer directly into the experience. “C Change” explores transformation, perception, and the power of music as a unifying force. Built around a groove-driven, indie dance / nu-disco energy, the track blends electronic rhythm with live-instrument feel, creating a hypnotic, late-night, coastal atmosphere.
