Using a traditional hoe, she prepares and turns over the soil by hand. Later, with the help of her mother, they plant onions and garlic for the coming season. After working in the garden, they harvest fresh herbs and vegetables and return to their small cottage to prepare a delicious homemade meal. Together, they cook a comforting traditional-style dish made with lentils, rice, chicken, and fresh garden ingredients.
