When Joe Pesci Got Some Acting Advice By Robert De Niro

Joe Pesci shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story while filming the famous trunk scene in Goodfellas. Between takes of viciously stabbing Frank Vincent's character, Pesci was breathing heavily and wildly excited to jump right back into the action. He suddenly noticed co-star Robert De Niro silently staring at him with intense concentration. Annoyed by the stare, Pesci asked what was wrong and even threatened to stab De Niro with his fake knife if he didn't answer. Instead of flinching, De Niro calmly pointed out a practical flaw in his technique, telling him he was stabbing too fast because a knife could never go in and out of human ribs that quickly. Seeing Robert De Niro give realistic stabbing advice in the middle of a brutal movie scene is pure gold. #joepesci #goodfellas #robertdeniro #frankvincent #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories 📝 Every upload is transformed from the ground up — original edits, custom subtitles, overlays, and real critical commentary.
