At the clinic, Lua received medical examinations, treatment, nutritious food, and careful attention. She was dealing with a skin condition and an ear infection, but slowly began to improve. After leaving the clinic, Lua moved into a safe foster home. With regular treatment, medicated baths, good nutrition, and patience, her fur began to grow back, she gained weight, and her confidence returned.
