Description

PCOS can affect energy, cravings, cycles, hair growth and body composition, but there is no single supplement that fixes everything. ⠀ Fatigue may be worse when vitamin D or iron levels are low, but supplements should ideally be based on testing. Vitamin K2 is not automatically required whenever vitamin D is taken. ⠀ For poor sleep, chamomile or lemon balm may help some people relax, but consistent sleep timing, morning light and limiting late caffeine usually matter more. ⠀ Myo inositol, often combined with D chiro inositol, has some evidence for improving insulin sensitivity and ovulation in people with PCOS. It is promising, but it does not work equally well for everyone. ⠀ Spearmint has limited evidence for reducing androgen related symptoms such as facial hair. Zinc only helps if intake is inadequate, while evidence for white peony is much weaker. ⠀ For cravings and body composition, protein, fiber, regular meals, strength training and walking after meals are much better supported than a “carnivore breakfast.” Electrolytes are useful when you genuinely need them, but they are not a craving treatment. ⠀ Berberine may improve some metabolic markers, but it can interact with medications and should not be treated like a harmless supplement. Omega 3 fats, olive oil, green tea, ginger and curcumin may support overall metabolic and inflammatory health. ⠀ For brain fog and low energy, do not underestimate the basics: sleep, movement, daylight, regular meals and checking for common issues such as iron deficiency or thyroid problems. ⠀ The strongest PCOS strategy is usually personalized: nutrition, resistance training, sleep, weight management when appropriate and medical treatment based on your symptoms and goals. ⠀ Subscribe to @wellnessyoudaily for simple health, nutrition and longevity insights 🌿 ⠀ #PCOS #PCOSSupport #HormoneHealth #WomensHealth #InsulinResistance #Inositol #StrengthTraining #HealthyEating #SleepHealth #MetabolicHealth #NutritionTips #HealthyHabits #WellnessTips #WellnessYouDaily
