They Thought He Was Jesus… Then He Sang "The Old Rugged Cross" The Arena Went Silent | AGT 2026

What happens when a man carrying nothing but a wooden cross and a linen shirt steps onto the America's Talent Arena stage… and sings one of the most beloved hymns ever written? Tonight, Elias Grace delivers a breathtaking new version of "The Old Rugged Cross" unlike anything you've ever heard. From the very first note, the arena goes completely silent. The judges lean forward. The audience stops moving. And as Elias begins to sing, the atmosphere changes. This is not just a performance. It is a declaration — that no matter what you're carrying, no matter your shame or your sorrow, there is a cross that already carried it first. And one day, we'll trade every burden for a crown. Through powerful vocals, an aching violin, a choir that rises like thunder, and an unforgettable presence, Elias Grace reminds us why this old hymn has never stopped mattering. From the opening whisper to the explosive final chorus, this performance will leave you breathless. Watch until the very last note. 🙏 If this song touched your heart, please: 👍 Like this video 🔔 Subscribe to America's Talent Arena 💬 Comment "Amen" We read every comment.
