Rainy Day Camping - A Camper Van Story

When it Rains | A Quiet Afternoon 🌧️🍂 We found a peaceful place near the Lake Tillery boat launch — quiet enough to sit and simply wait for the rain to pass before continuing our journey out of state. I’ve always loved watching rain fall, so I wandered down to sit by the boat dock to listen to the rain hit the water. Then later made my way back to our van. Brewed a cup of African Autumn tea, its warm spices feeling like the perfect companion for a rainy day, along with a little slice of cake too — while I simply enjoy listening to the rain against the van. And then, almost as quickly as it arrived, the rain disappeared. The clouds began to break, and a soft glow returned to the sky as sunlight peeked through once again. Sometimes, the best moments on the road aren't the places we planned to see. Sometimes, they're the unexpected pauses — a storm, a warm cup of tea, and a quiet place to rest. And just like life... just because it rain and thunder doesn't mean it's always going to pour. 🌧️ Take a moment to slow down, listen to the rain, and rest with us. Thank you so much for watching.
