A Single Father With One Leg Was Raising His Daughter in an Abandoned House — We Rebuilt Their Home

A struggling single father with one amputated leg was doing everything he could to care for his young daughter. With no stable income, he survived by collecting scrap, asking for help, and taking whatever small jobs he could find. Father and daughter were living together inside an abandoned, badly deteriorated house with unsafe floors, damaged walls, a failing roof, and almost no protection from the weather. When WINTEAM ABANDONED discovered their situation, we decided to help. In this video, follow their journey from hardship to a new beginning as the WINTEAM crew clears the property, removes the damaged structure, prepares the site, and builds a safe new home for the father and his daughter. This is more than a rebuilding project. It is a story about a father's determination to protect his child and the possibility of starting again.
