"The Drummer" - Bedtime Story for Adults by Grandma Tosya

Grandma Tosya tells the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of The Drummer in cozy 4K — a relaxing bedtime story to fall asleep to. Settle in by the warm fireplace as Grandma Tosya shares this old tale of a young drummer walking home across the fields one evening, who came to a lake he had never seen before. It was very still, and on the shore lay three pieces of white linen, folded and shining, finer than anything he had ever touched. He looked around, saw nobody, and put one in his pocket. That night a voice called his name at the window — a King's daughter, held on the glass mountain by an old woman who had taken her and her two sisters from their father's house, allowed down only once a day to bathe in the lake, and unable to return without what he had taken. He gave it back. Then he told her he would come and get her out, and she told him nobody could: the glass mountain cannot be climbed, and the road to it runs through places men do not come out of. He set off the next morning with his drum on his back and no plan at all — and what he found on that road was two giants, a wishing-saddle, and an old woman with three impossible tasks and very sharp eyes. The one who says "I am coming anyway" before he knows how usually finds a way that the careful ones never look for. ✨ All stories in 4K Ultra HD quality! © 2026 Grandma Tosya's Fairy Tales.
