A Roswell Witness Claimed He Met an Alien in the Desert — It Told Him Why They Were Here

He asked why they were coming to Earth. The answer George Adamski reported placed humanity on the other side of the warning. November 20, 1952. Near Desert Center, California, Adamski said he approached a stranger who looked human—but came from another world. Through gestures and mental images, he believed he understood what had brought the visitor here. It wasn't what humanity had discovered. It was what we were doing. His account spread through books, lectures and photographs. Then investigators began questioning the pictures, the supporting testimony, and how much of the message came from Adamski himself. This episode follows the claimed encounter, the warning about atomic explosions, and the evidence that made the story famous—and deeply disputed.
