Her Best Friend Mocked Her for Being Unable to Read… Years Later, She Was Speechless

Amara was a young girl in Lagos who struggled to read and even found simple calculations difficult. Instead of encouraging her, her best friend constantly mocked and laughed at her. But Amara refused to give up. She left Lagos for Port Harcourt, worked hard, and continued her education. Years later, she returned to Lagos as a confident and successful woman—and when her former best friend saw who she had become, she was completely speechless. This emotional African folktale is a powerful reminder that your struggles today do not determine your future. Never allow someone's mockery to make you give up on yourself.
