Melt the Ice Knit Hat on 46/48 Circular Knitting Machine #crochetitforward #melttheice #sentro #Addi

Hi everyone. Welcome to/back to my channel where I knit it forward in this tutorial by sharing my Melt the Ice Hat made on a 46/48 CKM. This pattern is super-duper easy and is one layer. February 26, 2026, is recognized as Red Hat Day in Minnesota due to its historical significance during World War II when Norwegians wore red knit caps as a sign of resistance against the Nazis. This act of defiance was outlawed in 1942, symbolizing a broader protest against occupation. In 2026, this tradition is revived by knitters in Minneapolis, who are creating red hats as a form of protest against ICE and immigration policies, reflecting a modern-day resistance to perceived injustices. I have a DIY Red Hat Fleece Pattern below too. Great quick make for family, friends, co-workers or to sell in your craft shops/markets. I appreciate everyone's support! Together, let's continue to craft it forward!
