“You Don’t Face the Consequences!” Malema Challenged Over His Immigration Views

Julius Malema’s statement that “no African can be a foreigner in Africa” has sparked debate, with critics pushing back and arguing that he is speaking from a position of privilege without fully experiencing the pressures ordinary South Africans face over immigration. The exchange raises difficult questions about African unity, national borders, immigration enforcement and the concerns of communities struggling with unemployment, poverty and pressure on public services. In this episode of THE 360 EXPERIENCE, we unpack Malema’s remarks, the pushback he received and the wider debate over Pan-Africanism and immigration in South Africa.
