My Sister Eileen (1942), starring Rosalind Russell and Janet Blair, is a lively classic comedy filled with zippy dialogue, colorful characters, and hilarious situations. An all-out farce whose antics were first introduced in the pages of THE NEW YORKER magazine, then in a hit Broadway play about two Ohio girls newly arrived in New York's Greenwich Village. The zippy dialogue is nonstop, and Russell proves again to be a comic powerhouse.
