Description

In this video I’ll explore ways to make Toad in the Hole the best it can be. I’ll share ways that I avoid undercooked, flat batter, overcooked sausages, greasy texture and plenty more. For those of you who don’t know what toad in the hole is, its basically sausages cooked in a yorkshire pudding or popover batter. Usually paired when an onion gravy. INGREDIENTS 8 x sausages 4 x eggs Plain flour Milk Salt & pepper (mix in just before cooking) 2 x Red onions A dessert spoon of butter 150ml / 3/4 cup Red wine A heaped dessert spoon of plain flour / all purpose flour 500ml / 2 cups Beef or chicken stock
