Description

I really have had this kit for a long time. I think the reason it took me so long to get round to filming with it was partly because I needed enough days to film it as there would be drying time for both the clay and the paint but also because I'm one of those people who wants to be able to do things perfectly. Obviously my first attempt using this wheel wasn't going to be great and that's why I needed to be in the right mindset to accept imperfection and just enjoy the process. I think I often prevent myself from doing fun things because of chasing an impossible standard. It's silly because, if we use this as an example, whilst I know they're not the best pots I am actually pleased with the results. I put the effort into trying something new and I now feel a sense of achievement. So moral of today's video - if you want to do things, don't over think, just have a go #miniature #barbie #pottery
