Today, my local garden club is visiting my garden, and I asked several members to share what caught their eye and what they really thought. Of course, getting the garden ready didn’t go entirely as planned. The day before the tour, a deer spent nearly 45 minutes browsing through the garden and helping herself to some of my plants. We caught it on camera, so you’ll get to see exactly what she ate and the damage she left behind. I’m also taking you behind the scenes for some of the work that went into getting the garden ready before everyone arrived. Then we’ll tour the garden with the club and hear from several members about their favorite plants, areas of the garden they enjoyed, and their impressions after seeing it all in person. It was such a fun day, and I hope you enjoy coming along for a slightly different kind of August garden tour!
