The secret fire trick tire shops use 👀

Why do mechanics blow up a brand-new tire on purpose? Because some tires just won't seat on the rim, no matter what. Amateur mechanics wrap a strap around the tire and cinch it down. Then they pump in air and the tire pops right into place. But if the tire's big and stiff, that trick fails. So the pros spray a shot of flammable aerosol inside the tire. Then they hit it with a lighter and set off a small blast. The blast hits every side at once, so even a truck tire snaps into place.
