ARMATUS New Gothic District Demo + Leviathan Boss Fight | Action Shooter RPG with DEMONIC HORDES

Check out the new exclusive preview demo look from the upcoming Armatus running in Unreal Engine 5. We captured this preview work in progress footage in RTX 5090 and 4K monitor (no commentary), thanks to access provided by Fictions. Armatus is an upcoming third person roguelite shooter developed by Counterplay Games (the studio behind Godfall). The title bridges the gap between the tactical dread of Destiny and Remnant 2 and the lightning-fast precision of Returnal with Hades progression depth, bringing a gothic evolution to the modern shooter-roguelite. ⚠️ Footage recorded by ENFANT TERRIBLE. Tasked by four surviving clerics, you must carve a path through demon-infested hellscapes along "The Scoured Path" to locate the Sunless Gate to heaven. 💥 GAMEPLAY FEATURES AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Hyperkinetic Hybrid Combat: Seamlessly chain modern firearms (SMGs, shotguns, assault rifles) with a signature melee scythe and supernatural celestial powers like holy fire or time manipulation. We loved the game's responsive gunplay and fluid movement mechanics. - New Gothic District: Navigate ruined Parisian urban streets and vertical, dark gothic architecture where environmental hazards and aggressive demonic hordes test your movement and positioning. We were thoroughly impressed by the striking Unreal Engine 5 visual fidelity across these detailed environments. - New Leviathan Boss: Battle colossal demonic horrors in multi-phase encounters, from the towering Monument to the deadly Leviathan, demanding precise dodges, weapon swapping, and strategic cooldown management. We found high replay value driven by these intense boss fights. - The Scoured Path & Roguelite Loop: Traverse procedurally generated paths each run. While death resets temporary power-ups, permanent currencies and knowledge persist to unlock upgraded abilities for future attempts. - Synergistic Buildcrafting: Start each run heavily armed and hunt for game-breaking power combinations. Stack elemental attachments and celestial traits to melt boss health bars. ✅ RELEASE DATE AND PLATFORMS Coming January 7, 2027 to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (Day One on Xbox Game Pass), and Nintendo Switch 2. 🕹️ SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS Wishlist/Buy on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3660710/Armatus/ 📩 FOR DEVELOPERS Want your game featured?
