Joyboy Was NEVER A Pirate? This ONE LINE Explains So Much!

Who was the FIRST Pirate King in One Piece? Joyboy seems like the obvious answer, but Chapter 1190 raised a VERY weird possibility: what if it was actually Imu? In this One Piece theory, we explore Imu’s strange reaction to Gol D. Roger becoming the Pirate King during the previous era. He was hung up on the D. initial, and we will explore if that's because IMU HIMSELF was the original king of the pirates, or if that title actually belonged to Joyboy. But something Vegapunk said during his big speech seems to imply Joyboy was never a pirate to begin with! Was Imu the original Pirate King? Joyboy’s first mate? Or is Imu STILL trying to fulfill their former captain’s dream 800 years later?
