Description

How the U.S. Navy Sank the World’s Largest Amphibious Warship | RIMPAC 2026 SINKEX RIMPAC 2026 (SINKEX) turned the decommissioned USS Peleliu (LHA-5) into a real target for a multinational live-fire exercise. The drill tested target detection, precision strikes, weapon employment, and allied coordination using the AH-64 Apache with Spike NLOS, JS Kongo (DDG 173) with Harpoon missiles, and F/A-18 Super Hornets armed with AGM-158C LRASM. The goal: test how allied forces can coordinate complex maritime strikes in a realistic combat environment. #usnavy #RIMPAC2026 #SINKEX #usmilitary #militarynews #navalwarfare #warships #militarydocumentary #rimpac #defensenews #navalexercise #USSPeleliu
