Hallelujah! Afrobeat Praise Song for Kids

What does "Hallelujah" mean? It means "Praise the Lord!" This original Afrobeat song for ages 3-8 teaches children to praise God with joy, and reminds them that praise isn't only for Sunday. We can praise Jesus every day. "Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!" (Psalm 150:6, World English Bible, public domain) What "Yah" means: "Yah" is a short form of God's name, which many Bibles write as "the Lord." So "Hallelujah" means "Praise the Lord!" Chorus: Hallelujah, Hallelujah! We praise the name of Jesus! Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Jesus is our King! Clap your hands! Stomp your feet! Everybody move to the beat! Hallelujah, Hallelujah! We praise the name of Jesus! What kids learn: "Hallelujah" means praise to God, and everything that has breath can praise Him. Try this together: play the song and have a praise dance. Clap every time you hear "Hallelujah." When the song ends, ask: what is one thing you can praise Jesus for today? Lyrics and storyboard by Patience. Theological review by pastor Randolph.
