Synopsis: Sister Cristina (Florinda Bolkan) is a dedicated teaching nun who decides to take a group of her teenage female students to an isolated countryside villa. The goal of the retreat is to find peace and quiet while rehearsing a theatrical adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. However, their tranquility is brutally shattered when three sadistic bank robbers, on the run after a heist gone wrong, break into the villa. Led by the ruthless Aldo (Ray Lovelock), the criminals take the women hostage, subjecting them to an escalating nightmare of psychological terror, abuse, and violence that culminates in the brutal murder of one of the girls. Pushed past all human limits of endurance and despair, Sister Cristina makes a desperate choice: she renounces her vows and her peaceful teachings to transform herself into a lethal vigilante, launching a bloody and relentless manhunt. A Legendary Exploitation Masterpiece: Also known internationally as The Seventh Woman or Terror Castle, this film stands out as one of the most intense and raw entries in the Italian exploitation cinema of the late 1970s, drawing stylistic comparisons to Wes Craven's The Last House on the Left.
