Why Did Demons Beg Jesus to Enter Pigs? (The Hidden Truth)

Of all the miracles recorded in the four Gospels, none is quite as strange, jarring, or intensely debated as the exorcism at Gadara. When Jesus crossed the stormy Sea of Galilee into pagan territory, a naked, self-harming man possessed by a Roman-sized "Legion" of foul spirits ran from the tombs to meet Him. But instead of fighting, thousands of demons fell to their knees in sheer terror. Then, they made one of the most bizarre requests in the entire Bible: they begged Jesus not to banish them into the bottomless pit (the Abyss), but to let them enter a herd of two thousand grazing pigs. With one word—"Go"—Christ granted the request. Instantly, the entire herd stampeded off a cliff and choked in the sea. Why pigs? Why did spiritual entities plead for unclean flesh? What was the terrifying reality of the Abyss they feared so intensely? And why did the townspeople beg the Savior of the world to leave their coasts forever?
