What Disaster Is the UK Government Secretly Most Afraid Of? The Official List

Britain has a secret list of every way the country could collapse — and the top of that list is a UK blackout the government has quietly upgraded to catastrophic. In this video I break down the government's official National Risk Register (2025 edition) — 89 risks across 9 themes — and the "reasonable worst-case scenarios" the state is actually budgeting for. From a two-week flood and Disease X to the counterintuitive number one threat: a loss of gas supply that triggers a total UK blackout. You'll also see why the government's UK emergency alert system is linked to this document, what changed in the new emergency preparedness advice on GOV.UK's Prepare campaign, and what a realistic 72-hour kit (and 7-day action plan) looks like beyond the official checklist. This is UK prepping based on published documents — not rumours.🔗 Mentioned in this video: GOV.UK National Risk Register 2025 GOV.UK Prepare Campaign - Prepare for emergencies 🔗 Get the ITEHIL E01 Mini (UK Store) — 10% off via my referral link + £10 off with code DOOMPREP: https://uk.itehil.com/products/mini-water-filtration-system?ref=DOOMPREP — use code: DOOMPREP at checkout https://uk.itehil.com/?ref=DOOMPREP | Code: Doomprep 👉 Next watch: Britain's Secret Blackout Plan: What They're NOT Telling You Get vidIQ to grow your channel faster! 🚀 https://vidiq.com/EatsTreatsMREs #UKblackout #emergencypreparedness #UKprepping #NationalRiskRegister #griddown
