66-Year-Old Serial Killer Has No Clue Police Just Connected His DNA to a 1984 Murder

Serial Killer Realizes DNA Finally Caught Him After 39 Years In 1984, Judy Weaver was found murdered inside her burning apartment in Everett, Washington. She had been raped, strangled, and bound with a piece of fabric. There were no witnesses. No usable DNA testing. And no suspect who could be tied to the crime. For nearly four decades, her family had no answers. 💀 The Cold Case Just three months after Judy's murder, another terrifying attack happened less than two miles away. Two teenage girls were tied up and assaulted inside their home. The man responsible was arrested and convicted—but nobody realized the connection to Judy's murder. Then, 38 years later, everything changed. 🧬 The DNA Breakthrough In 2022, a retired detective sent the old ligature evidence back to the Washington State Crime Lab. In 2023, modern DNA technology produced a match. The DNA belonged to Mitchell Gaff—a man already in the state's database because of the 1984 assault on the two teenage sisters. The cold case finally had a name. 🚔 The Interrogation Detectives brought Gaff into an interview room and spent more than an hour talking to him before revealing what they knew. He calmly discussed his past, his recovery, and the crimes that had sent him to prison. But as detectives began describing Judy's apartment and the way her body had been bound, his story started getting dangerously close to the evidence. His DNA was on the binding. It was also found on the vaginal swab and clothing collected from Judy's body in 1984. 😨 The Hidden Connection Investigators also connected Gaff to another unsolved killing: the 1980 murder of 21-year-old Susan Vesey. The same distinctive binding method appeared in both cases. In 2026, prosecutors added an aggravated first-degree murder charge connected to Vesey's death. 🔥 WATCH NOW to uncover how a forgotten piece of evidence, modern DNA technology, and a chilling interrogation finally connected a 39-year-old murder to its killer! 🔥 Check out these videos: Husband Discovers His Wife Is A Mass Killer https://youtu.be/tebV3F9kTp4?si=8LHEGi5y2Us338lI The Fastest Confessions From Suspects https://youtu.be/gSdASEOnItY?si=ZivM6rF-VH7ZMw1V “Friendly” Cop Has No Idea Police Already Matched Her DNA After 23 Years https://youtu.be/rJYy0pHZDxA?si=IQvlhmR6SPDuKc4B Disclaimer: This video was independently researched, written, narrated, edited, and produced as an original documentary work.
