The 144,000 Light Beings Were Not the Good Guys

Almost everyone has heard of the 144,000 - the legendary company of light beings that turns up in folklore and scripture and a hundred New Age books. In Billy Meier's contact notes, read out here by Ted Loman, the number is real and the story is inverted: 144,052 Lyrians came to Earth about 380,000 years ago, and they came because they were running. They were, in the notes' own phrasing, by no means the good guys - the immoral group who left during wartime and hid out here. The Lyrians themselves are described as a blue-eyed race with white or blonde hair, seven to nine meters tall, warlike enough to have nearly destroyed themselves more than once. One faction, led by Ariseal, fled a war in the Lyra system around 230,000 years ago, spent years looking for somewhere to rebuild, and became what we now call the Pleiadians - which is why, the notes say, they treat us like little brothers. Another ruler, Pelagon, arrived 50,000 years ago standing over 35 feet tall. His title was ishwish, king of wisdom. The local word for that was God, and Pelagon did nothing whatsoever to correct the misunderstanding. Then the part that reads like a warning. Atlant and his wife Keratide founded Atlantis on a landmass between Africa and South America; her father Muras founded Mu in the Gobi Desert. They lived alongside each other with high technology for thousands of years until a third faction set them against one another. Atlantis struck first with rays that converted matter straight back into energy and dissolved Mu within moments - but Mu had already towed an asteroid out of the belt and aimed it at Earth. It arrived an hour into the victory celebrations, knocked the planet off its axis, sank the continent, flooded Egypt, and left the air unbreathable for almost fifty years.
