Description

Sometimes you want a warm homemade chocolate chip cookie… but you do NOT need two dozen of them sitting on the counter! 😂🍪 This small-batch chocolate chip cookie recipe makes just 4 big cookies—perfect when you want something sweet without making an entire batch. They have lightly crisp, golden edges with soft centers and plenty of chocolate chips. And best of all, they're made with simple ingredients and come together quickly! 🍪 Small-Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies — Makes 4 Ingredients ¼ cup packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons salted butter, softened If using unsalted butter, add ¼ teaspoon salt 1 large egg yolk, room temperature ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract Pinch of baking soda (about 1/16 teaspoon) ½ cup all-purpose flour ⅓ cup chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolk and vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined. Stir in the baking soda. If you're using unsalted butter, add the ¼ teaspoon salt at this point. Add the flour and mix just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop the dough by generous tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined or lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 12–14 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned but the centers still look slightly underbaked. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet. And that's it—four homemade chocolate chip cookies! Just enough to satisfy that cookie craving without having 20 more calling your name from the kitchen. 😂 ❤️ Enjoy! Until next time… may your kitchen always feel like a hug from Grandma. #ChocolateChipCookies #SmallBatchCookies #CookieRecipe #SmallBatchBaking #ChocolateChipCookieRecipe #EasyDesserts #HuggedByGrandma
