Mirelle is enjoying a peaceful winter carriage ride with her maid when a group of highwaymen suddenly ambush them in the forest. Their horses bolt, the driver is lost in the chaos, and the two women are left trapped with the robbers. But high above the snowy mountains, a mysterious Fae named Melusin is flying on his black Pegasus. He spots the trouble, descends from the sky and comes to their aid. Once he knows Mirelle and her maid are safe, however, his attention starts lingering on Mirelle a little longer than strictly necessary… Meanwhile, Kyril, a quiet sculptor with considerably more strength than anyone expects, steps in to deal with the last robber and the damaged sleigh. He offers to drive the women home, while Melusin takes the seat directly opposite Mirelle. What follows is less of a solemn rescue and more of a playful romantic disaster: stolen looks, a very flustered Mirelle, one extremely self-assured Fae… and one suspiciously well-timed bump in the road. The whole short is accompanied by fast, stylish cinematic tavern-inspired music, giving the chase, rescue and romantic tension a lively, adventurous rhythm. The story is intentionally funny as well as romantic, mixing fantasy danger with dry humor, awkward attraction and a little visual comedy. SOUND & MUSIC: I spend significant time crafting the perfect soundtrack. I refine and curate the lyrics and melodies to ensure they perfectly match the protagonist's inner journey and the video's atmosphere.
