Kailan naman ako? — NAKALIMUTAN KO (Songs for people who put everyone else first)

"Nakalimutan Ko" — iSurge Music Nakalimutan ko na kung paano mangarap para sa sarili ko... An emotional OPM narrative song about sacrifice, forgotten dreams, burnout, and finding your way back to yourself. 📖 ABOUT THE SONG Kailan mo huling pinili ang sarili mo? "NAKALIMUTAN KO" is a deeply personal Filipino OPM song about sacrifice, forgotten dreams, self-discovery, and the realization that sometimes, while taking care of everyone else, we slowly forget ourselves. Through heartfelt storytelling and cinematic music, iSurge Music brings this experience to life. If you've ever put your own dreams aside because someone needed you, this song may feel like your own story. 📖 THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG — NAKALIMUTAN KO ❓ What inspired iSurge Music to create “NAKALIMUTAN KO”? It began with one question: What happens when we spend so much time helping others move forward that we forget our own dreams? That thought led us to explore the quiet cost of always saying “saka na”—until years pass and the life we once imagined for ourselves feels increasingly distant. ❓ What is the deeper meaning behind the song? “NAKALIMUTAN KO” is not about regretting the sacrifices we made for the people we love. It is about realizing that while we were making room for everyone else, we may have stopped making room for ourselves. Through its lyrics, the song confronts the quiet exhaustion of always being dependable and asks a difficult question: Kailan ko huling pinili ang sarili ko? ❓ What message does iSurge Music hope listeners take away? We want listeners to remember that loving others and choosing yourself are not opposites. Your dreams matter, too. Even if years have passed and some opportunities are gone, you can still rediscover who you are and begin again. Sometimes, moving forward means finally remembering the person you left behind—yourself. 🎵 SONG CREDITS & METADATA • Song Title: NAKALIMUTAN KO • Artist / Project: iSurge Music • Release Year: 2026 • Genre: Original OPM / Cinematic Slow-Rock / Soft Acoustic Ballad / Emotional Filipino Narrative Song / Self-Healing OPM Anthem / Contemporary Folk-Pop • Theme: Self-Discovery, Emotional Healing, Overcoming Quiet Trauma, Mental Health Awareness, Personal Resilience, Finding Your Way Back, Self-Compassion & Hope • Executive Producer & Concept: iSurge Music • Words & Lyrics by: iSurge Music • Music Production & Arrangement: iSurge Music (Featuring an intimate acoustic guitar foundation, warm vulnerable vocals, atmospheric ambient pads, dynamic rising emotional crescendos, and a heartfelt vocal performance) • Copyright & Distribution: iSurge Music Records © 2026 🎶 OFFICIAL ARTIST NOTE iSurge Music is an artist-driven initiative that uses both human creativity and AI technology to amplify real stories — blending emotion, message, and modern tools to awaken awareness.
