595-Meter Pumpkin Record Trebuchet Launch

Original video credit: (ig) @nielspils666 Launching a pumpkin 595 meters (nearly 2,000 feet) across open farmland shattered the national distance record in Belgium. To clear that distance, the projectile leaves the throwing arm at an estimated 170 to 180 mph. Custom vertical rails guide the heavy counterweight straight down, converting gravitational potential energy into forward momentum.
