48 Hours Alone in a Snowy Forest | part 1

As the snow began to fall, I made a decision—to step into the forest and spend several days alone in the wild. After about half an hour of hiking through the snowy terrain, I found a flat spot and chose it as my shelter location. My hands were freezing, but I had no time to waste. I gathered dry branches and used flint to start a fire. The cold was intense, so I collected as much firewood as I could to stay warm through the night. The first step was survival. I collected dry wood and began cutting logs to build a raised bed—sleeping directly on the snow wasn’t an option. Layer by layer, I used branches and leaves to create insulation and prepare a place to rest. Night came quickly. I didn’t have much time, and hunger set in. I ate a few potatoes, gathered extra firewood to keep the fire alive beside me, and finally lay down to rest. Alone in the cold, surrounded by silence—this was only the beginning. #offthegrid #bushcraft #forestlife #wildernesssurvival #wintershelter #soloadventure #snowyforest #wintercamping #offthegrid
