Description

Every morning you finish your coffee and throw the grounds straight in the bin. Grandma has one question. What if they had one more purpose before they went in the rubbish? Caffeine has been studied in topical hair products because of the way it may interact with the hair follicle. That does not make used coffee grounds a miracle cure. Grandma does not promise miracles. And this is not a treatment for baldness, alopecia, or medical hair loss. But Grandma does not waste a good thing without first asking whether it has another purpose. In this video she shows her simple morning coffee rinse — how she makes it, how she applies it, and the one mistake she does not want you making with this. Because some people take coarse coffee grounds and scrub their scalp as though they are polishing a pot. No, sweetheart. Being rough with your scalp does not make hair grow faster. Coarse grounds can be irritating, especially on a sensitive scalp. Tingling, burning, and discomfort do not mean something is working. They mean you should rinse it away immediately. ☕ Used Coffee Grounds — caffeine has been studied in topical hair products for the way it may interact with the hair follicle. Grandma uses a strained, smooth coffee rinse — not coarse grounds rubbed directly onto the scalp 💧 Warm Water — a gentle straining process removes the gritty pieces so what goes onto the scalp is smooth and clean 🖤 Dark Towel — keep one nearby. Coffee will stain light fabric. Take a small spoonful of fresh used grounds from your morning coffee. Add a little warm water — not hot. Stir gently. Strain well through a fine sieve. Apply the smooth rinse carefully along the scalp part by part. Massage with the soft pads of your fingers — no scratching, no digging, no hard rubbing. Leave on for about five minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with your usual wash routine. If your scalp is sore, irritated, freshly scratched, or very sensitive — skip this. There is no prize for forcing something that does
