The Forgotten Halloween Horror Movie You Need to See

Lady in White (1988) is one of the most overlooked Halloween horror movies of the 1980s—and if you've never seen it, you need to. What makes Lady in White so special is its atmosphere. It captures that nostalgic, eerie feeling of childhood Halloween better than almost any horror movie of its era, while still delivering a surprisingly dark mystery underneath it all. And now, Vinegar Syndrome has given this forgotten Halloween classic a beautiful new life with a limited-edition 4K UHD release, newly restored from the original 35mm camera negative and featuring three different cuts of the film plus a wealth of new and archival extras. If you're looking for an 80s horror movie, a forgotten Halloween movie, an atmospheric ghost story, or just something unusual to watch this October, Lady in White deserves a spot on your list.
