The Real Jack-O’-Lantern Legend | Halloween Short film

Thank you for watching, this was made using local rendering hardware and in the making of this I had real rendering constraints and limitations and while i tried my best with audio and video continuity and just didn't have the time to make it perfect. Before pumpkins, before Halloween masks, before the glowing grin on your doorstep… there was Stingy Jack. Jack of the Lantern is a grotesque claymation Halloween short told from Jack’s own cursed perspective. Inspired by the Irish folklore of Stingy Jack, the story follows a miserly trickster who cheats the Devil, is rejected by Heaven and Hell, and is condemned to wander forever with only a burning coal inside a hollowed turnip to light his way. Created in a warped handmade claymation style, this animated short blends Irish folk horror, jack-o’-lantern mythology, dark fantasy, grotesque character design, and candlelit Halloween atmosphere. Watch as Jack becomes the legend behind the lantern. Perfect for fans of dark folklore, Halloween animation, stop-motion horror, Irish mythology, creepy claymation, and origin stories behind classic Halloween traditions. Each episode is written, researched, narrated/produced, edited and visually directed for this channel, combining original music, folklore, history and original cinematic storytelling. Episodes use original scripts and editing, with AI-assisted visual/Audio production where appropriate, narration is done by a cloned voice of myself. #Bedtime Myths and Mysteries, #sleep story for adults, #ASMR stories, #Ghost stories #StingyJack #JackOLantern #HalloweenFolklore #Claymation #StopMotionHorror #IrishFolklore #HalloweenAnimation
