FULL REMARKS: President Trump Unveils Women's Health Task Force With RFK Jr. at the Helm | AC15

President Donald Trump signs an executive order aimed at advancing women's health research during a White House Rose Garden ceremony alongside First Lady Melania Trump. Trump praised the first lady for her work on the initiative, which seeks to address gaps in medical research into diseases and conditions that disproportionately affect women. He announced plans for a new Women's Health Division within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a White House Women's Health Task Force to coordinate federal efforts. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will lead the task force, according to Trump's remarks. The initiative aims to encourage new research, support earlier diagnosis, accelerate the development of treatments and improve women's access to healthcare. Trump also highlighted the potential role of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, in medical discovery. During the event, he recognized members of his administration and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, whose experience with breast cancer was mentioned as October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The ceremony concluded with Trump signing the executive order alongside participants and administration officials.
