Description

I found this 1988 Yamaha FZR250 sitting in a salvage yard, missing parts and covered in rust. After some serious bargaining, I bought this 38-year-old legend for just $120. But beneath all the rust and neglect was something truly special — a high-revving 250cc four-cylinder engine capable of screaming all the way to 18,000 RPM. In this restoration, I completely stripped the bike down and rebuilt it from the ground up. The engine was rebuilt with new pistons, piston rings, gaskets, and other components. I also restored the frame, carburetors, suspension, wiring, exhaust, and bodywork. After months of work, this forgotten FZR250 finally returned to the road — looking like the legendary machine it once was. From a $120 scrap bike to a revived 18,000 RPM legend. I hope you enjoy the restoration! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and turn on notifications for more classic vehicle restorations. #carrestoration #motorcycle #yamahafzr
