The Ultimate Hollow Tree Shelter: Building a Hidden Bushcraft Cabin in the Snow

Winter bushcraft survival in deep snow ❄️🔥 In this video, I hike into a frozen mountain forest with my dogs to build a hidden survival cabin inside a massive hollow tree. Using only basic hand tools and natural materials, I construct circular log walls around the ancient trunk, build a roof, install a wood-burning stove, and prepare a warm meal inside the shelter. This winter bushcraft build shows real cold-weather survival skills — site preparation in deep snow, cutting and fitting logs by hand, insulating the roof with moss, crafting a wooden door, and installing a compact stove for heat and cooking. As night falls, the small cabin becomes a warm refuge in the wilderness. I cook chicken, potatoes, mushrooms, and vegetables on a cast iron pan while my dogs rest nearby. By morning, the shelter blends back into the forest, hidden among the trees. This is off-grid winter living, primitive cabin building, and solo survival with dogs in snowy mountains. 00:00 – Finding Winter Shelter 05:50 – Building Log Walls 19:40 – Installing Wood Stove 24:10 – Cooking Mountain Food 👉 Subscribe for more winter bushcraft & survival builds 👍 Like if you enjoy primitive cabin projects 🔔 Turn on notifications for the next adventure #bushcraft #wintersurvival #snowcamping #survivalshelter #bushcraftcamp #offgridliving #wildernesscamping #woodstove #primitivecabin #solosurvival #bushcraftwithdogs #wintercamp
